Chandre Oran is an Alipurduar native in India best known as the only human alive with a tail. Reports claim he was born that way and now, he is allegedly considered a god in his community; who can heal the sick and bring good fortune with just one touch of his tail.
Chandre is an official tea picker and has gained glory over the years for his out-of-this-world ordinary assert. His tail is reported to be about 14.5 inches and even though it was a cause for ridicule in his youth and among women, residents are now considering him to be a manifestation of a monkey god called, "Hanuman".
According to recent documentary on him, Chandre explained that it was so hard for him to get a wife or a women to love him because ladies are not too fond of his extra body part! He finally got a lady with whom they share a child but he says his wife hasn’t still gotten over his tail.
The people of Alipurdua and India in general, are starting to adore him like a god and say his tail could possibly bring good fortunes, healing and happiness to anyone who touches it.
The 35 year old tail-man told reporters that his dream is to build a temple for his followers and it may take him 5 years to achieve that.
